I, too, will promote goals, such as living by a budget and being debt-free. But our chief goal should be to glorify God in all things (Mark 12:28–30; 1 Cor. 10:31; 2 Cor. 5:9), including our working, our spending, our saving, and our giving. Alongside that, we should have the goal of using our financial resources to fulfill the second great commandment:
